Laryngectomee

A laryngectomee is a person destitute of his larynx after a total laryngectomy. The latter is a necessary surgery operation which takes part in the treatment of the organ's cancer.
In France, there is one laryngectomee for 8 000 people, which means approximately 8 000 laryngectomees.
Ceredas Cyranose® system responds effectively and permanently to the inconveniences caused by the laryngectomy: pulmonary complications such as cough, drought or tracheal hyper secretion, due to a lack of filtration, heating and humidifying of the inspired air.
